Symptoms of heart attack include:
*Chest pain or discomfort in the center of the chest; feeling "depressed," "heavy" or "crushed" that lasted no more than a few minutes or go away and come back.
* Pain or discomfort in other parts of the body parts, including arms, shoulders, neck, jaw, or stomach.
* Difficulty breathing, shortness of breath
* Sweating or "cold sweat"
* A sense of bloating, indigestion, or choking feeling (may feel like "a burning sensation in the stomach")
* Nausea or vomiting
* Very weak or nervous
* Fast heartbeat or irregular
Do not wait until your symptoms "disappear". Early recognition and treatment of heart attack symptoms can reduce the risk of heart damage and allows treatment to begin. Even if you do not believe that your symptoms are symptoms of a heart attack, you still need to be evaluated. Some people have heart attacks without having any symptoms (myocardial infarction "silent" myocardial infarction). Silent MI can occur among all patients, although more common among diabetics. If you have a silent MI, heart attack, you may be diagnosed during a routine medical examination.
