tofu gejrot

Tofu gejrot is a typical food from Cirebon , Indonesia . Tofu gejrot consists of fried tofu and then cut a little bit and then eaten with a sauce of chili, onion and sugar seasonings.

Ingredient :

15 pieces fried tofu
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 red chilies, finely chopped
4 pieces chili pepper, finely chopped

5 red onions, mashed roughly
4 pieces chili pepper, roughly mashed
2 pieces of green chilies, mashed rude
3 tablespoons tamarind juice 1 tbsp soy sauce
250 cc brown sugar water
salt
Fried Onion

How to Make:

* Cut out the two, set aside.
* Boil water and all ingredients, except rough ground spice sauce.
* After taste quite sweet and acid enough, enter the chili and onion.
* Cool, pour over fried tofu.
